The Revolution Has Begun...with a little love, too.

Today, Monday Sept. 20th, my neighbor Tristynn and I began the P90X workout routine. Maybe I'll do before and after pictures...hmm. I'm very excited to see how it goes, we've done most of the workouts but never in the routine they're supposed to be done. Today was Chest and Back plus the Ab Ripper X. The Ab Ripper is my favorite, I also think the name is badass, haha. Knowing that I'm putting myself through this intense 90-day routine is exciting and when I finish I think it will be the best feeling you can get from all the hard work you've put into it. After Chest and Back, after what felt like hundreds of push-ups, pull-ups and other strenuous reps, I could barely lift my arms, let alone push myself off of the floor.
I hope I'm sore tomorrow. Nothing feels better than the soreness of the muscles, knowing you really pushed it the day (or two) before. I think I may add in a brisk power walk or run every day or at least every other. I'll keep this updated on my progress, I think I may do pictures once a week or every 2 weeks. I guess we shall see what we shall see.
I'm making a turkey dinner with baked potatoes and one other thing, not sure what yet. Today is Jerome and my anniversary, over 2 years now. Wow, time flies. Seems like just yesterday I was getting into his sister's car, shaking his hand, blushing and saying "Nice to finally meet you." What a gentleman. One cousin's wedding a day later and the bond was sealed and I couldn't be happier. I love him like no other and I couldn't picture a happy life without him in it. <3 Maybe I'll elaborate more on that someday, but for now, just know he is everything to me.

  1. Do you work out at her house or yours? Before and after pics, or during pics, are a great idea.
I would love to have an eliptical machine to get me through the winter. I know that once the weather turns rough my walks are over. That's not the same type of exercise that you do, but that's what works best for me.
